Yeah. Except we'd have to make all the images & alike ourselves, and it'd be quite a lot of work. (Hey, maybe we could use the tutorials for making BP oats to make the images for those horses!)

Haha yeah. It would be hard and time consuming, but who knows? Maybe it would work lol

Now I'm beginning to understand why Howrse has a limited number of coats.

To me the art and the layout and everything wouldn't be a problem, but the coding! Oh the miserable coding!

lol coding would be a problem...

Yeah, I've been trying to grasp PHP and MySQL for a long time, but no success

Aw. We need to find someone who knows what there doing! Then MAYBE it might possibly have a small chance of working. lol. I'm optimistic aren't I?

Oh yes, it could definitely get off the ground then. There are plenty of people that have made some simple sims (like no flash or other fancy stuff). It should be simple, all one would need is PHP and MySQL knowledge, a database, a server and website, and then of course all the web pages. I'm usually pretty optimistic also, lol.

Lol, know anybody with that kind of knowledge? They could be useful. Who knows, maybe someday we will acquire that knowledge and make the greatest SIM game. Maybe lol

And just in case, we should decide everything in advance, like, NOW. (Yea, I'm a bit crazy.) Like the breeds, background colors, etc. (What about if you suggest a breed, you do all the coats? I think that'd be fair...)

Yeah, I agree HorsegirlDylan, but if whoever suggests a breed does the coat, that may not be good as some people aren't that good in art, but they know plenty of breeds. I was thinking more that whoever can suggest a breed (maybe have a poll or something), then whoever wants to can submit their designs for the coats (like the black pearl, but instead for each breed, and the art that is more accurate and realistic gets chosen). And there's this dog sim (www.furry-paws.com) where you can go to one of their forum boards and advertise your game that you're making and ask for coders, artists, mods, etc., so that'd perhaps be a possibility.

Yeah, a poll'd be good. I think we'd need a lotta coders.

A poll is a good idea. We could have a poll every once and a while and people could submit breed ideas and info. Then maybe a contest or something for the coats? A lot of coders would probably be necessary, unless someone was amazing and could code really fast.

Yep. I'd say we should start with 1 draft breed, 1 semi-draft breed, 1 pony breed, 1 warmblood breed, and a couple other 'standard' breeds (QH, tb, arab etc.)

Semi-draft would be like Morgan?

Ya, start with a few common and popular breed. Then slowly add more. Not too different from what howrse does, is it?

Semi-draft as in Finnhorse & Irish Draft, ie sort of an workhorse that ides well.

I've been working on the coding for this site (yes really!), and it's going very well, and soon I'll let some of you (that is the HV members that I know) come in as testers, and to give ideas and suggestions etc. Meanwhile, what you all can do is think about a name for the site! So far, for its development stage, it is under the domain and name of HorseWorld, but I want something more unique than that, since that name is so common it may even be copyrighted .

HorsesForever? GallopOn?
P.S. Can we soon start choosing the breeds? Doing the coats?

Yes you may! I'm working on the Quarter Horses now, and when that gets perfected I'll be able to start adding the other breeds. And I've now got a forum for such: horseworld.aforumfree.com/
