You're an atheist HorsegirlDylan? I won't argue with you because I'm too good at it lol. Our family was Christian but then turned toward Jewish and then away from that (always lagging behind Dad who is always trying something new). Now Dad is trying a lot of things at once, like New Age and Chinese ideas, but he has a hard time trying not to believe or change the form of God or the in our family without raising a big discussion. So I believe in God and the Bible, and possibly evolution can work with God a little, and yeah pippa I think you're right about ghosts existing in the form of spirits.

i believe in evolution and that it could work with god too. (im not arguing with anyone, its just my personal belief) i dont really believe the same things that judaism teaches even though i am jewish and have had my bat mitzvah and everything. so i dont know what that makes me.

I'm a pretty good arguer too, AngelMare Now I'll quote from our ethics book, here's a quote from Hugo Vatanen (translated to English) "I don't believe in anything, I don't use the word believe. I either know or don't know. -- Even though I don't believe in any religion, other people are allowed to live their life whether believing or not believing. People are programmed to believe. I don't blame them. I blame the people who program people to believe.” (I left some text out from the middle, that's what the -- was about.) What are you? atheist: a person who doesn't believe in god(s) monotheist: a person who believes in one god polytheist: a person who believes in multiple beings pantheist: a person who believes that everything is god, eg. that god equals nature agnostic: a person who thinks we will never know whether god(s) exist(s) or not

Lol I know, and I've learned not to care about what other people believe. Too many wars have been started over religion (Crusades, terrorism, Spanish Inquisition, etc.).

Way to many wars have been caused by differences in religion.
HorsegirlDylan, that's and interesting quote, I like it.

Yeah, I agree horses929. It's somewhat like the quote "I don't agree with a thing you say but I'll fight to the death for your right to say it." Oh I didn't catch that question mark earlier lol. I think it's directed at me. Anyhow I'm a monotheist.

And another quote, this time from our ethics teacher, Tarja: (can't remember her last name) "Isn't it funny that the bible got everything in the right order, like...” There was a lot of rambling at that point which I decided to save you from. And then she said: "I wonder how they squeezed it to six days.” To which I replied: "Mabe they ran out of paper.”
