For some strange reason, I think my Mom is planning to keep me off the internet, in other words ground me, so if I don't come on, you'll know why.

Dang. 'Cause you're too much on the computer? If that's the case, spend 1-3 days where you voluntarily go to jog/play with annoying sibligs/help a lot with chores. I do that every time there's a chance of being grounded. Another thing I do is limit my own net usage.

Yes, that's what I plan to do. Lie low and hope she forgets. She somehow seems to be like afraid of the internet. She took the computer away from one of my brothers when he failed to do some of his schoolwork, but I've been careful not to be that carried away and I make A+ in all subjects so I can show her that the computer is not affecting me.

Hmm...show her the pages you're browsing and show you're not on any freako pages...She may think you're talking to freaky weirdos...Or something. Convince her the net's not going to eat you.

Yeah, though I think with her it's best to show her that I'm not on the net much. She's says it's not healthy to be on the internet, though I think she sometimes mixes up computer and internet.

Show a few then. And try to show as many educational ones as possible, as well as telling her you're using it for learning.
