HV's birthday is coming up on the 25th of December! Any ideas on what we should do on that special day?

Pass the parcel? Party games! Lets set a time in GMT (EVERYONE show up in time, please!) when everyone'll be here. (With our luck, it'll be me from Finland, AngelMare from America, horses929 from the UK and a couple people from Australia... LOL) Riding competition (like longest trot/gallop/sl ride) Book recommendation hour (good for bookworms like me) Assorted miscallaneous chat (yep, it'll go off topic anyway, so lets just put misc in already) etc.

Yeah, the different time zones will be the problem. I guess there can be like two times, morning and evening or something like that. horses929 seems to be from the U.S. pippapet is from the U.K. horselady6 is from Canada, so hopefully we can drag her over There can be several things, and I was thinking of like some type of contest to find something (I haven't though it out completely yet) among the threads; like I would hide these somethings (presents? balloons?) among the threads and whoever finds them first wins or something; I have no idea what the prizes could be And yes some kind of party or party games, however those would work...

Party games: Pass the parcel: uhh... we have a 'parcel' that everyone passes to someone else. When the time's up, the person who has the parcel gets either a horse or equus or something.
Prizes for the games: -horses -equus -reserved spot at an EC - reserved coverings for 200eq -dinky icons? custom imagery?
OK, that's all for now–I think!

That sounds like fun, time zones would be a problem though.

Yea. Finland's currently GMT +2 hours. The 25th will be free from school/work, so that shouldn't be a problem. I can probably make it from 8:00 to 18:00 GMT.

I am at GMT -7 hours, so I'll probably be able to be on/off from 2:00 to 15:00 GMT. We don't do Christmas at our house, so it's like any normal day, but since I am homeschooled I can be a little more flexible about time. I also can't be on from 11:00 to 12:30 GMT since I have to ride then.

So... What 'bout the main party events being at 2:00 GMT, 9:00 GMT, 14:00 GMT, and 21:00 GMT?

Hmm, im a little confsed about the GMT, times, when im posting this now its 20:08 and im on Eastern Euope times GMT, I think, I did change it.
But anyway a birthday sounds like a great idea! Pace the parcel, of pass the pressent (christmas and all) and prizes could be good, like a really good X-mas pressies (BM item, but might be a bit pricey)
So were does everyone live, country wise
Im UK (Scotland to be exact) and as far as I can gather
horses929 (UK or possibles USA) AngelMare (USA) horselady6 (Canada) HorsegirlDylan (Finland)
Sorry if ive missed people or got muddled up, but that a mixture so whats a good time for each person?Roughly? Me would probley 12pm possibley (X-Mas lunch)
Am I on the right tracks?

poissonedkissxo is in Texas, I think, but she may not be able to come. And you say you're on Eastern Europe time instead of UK time? I would think, though I'm not sure, that Scotland would be GMT time, being around the same line of longitude as Greenwich.
